Well, Zoins and the z-quests have a lot of potential. A.net can add all sorts of new things to the collectors once people have grinded enough to get all the bags they want. My suggestion is just for an alternate way to get something we already have.

My suggestion is to include on the zoin collector the monthly tonic that drops from the z-chest (ie, asura tonic, trapdoor tonic, etc, non-everlasting version only), but have it change every single month along with the zchest monthly update. Obviously, make it cheaper then the mysterious tonic and price it accordingly.

Sounds like a good idea, but you can always buy the z-keys from the guy and hope for an everlasting one :P

Sounds good to me. I hope in the coming months there are a few things added to be able to trade in for zaishen coins, right now the only things people are going for seems to be the equipment bags.

Hm... 2 silver normal, 50 everlasting... that would give a good reason to make them and save coins for the month you like more. I'll save all coins for the Mursaat month! And we could change the prices of bags too.

Everlasting tonics for zcoins is a terrible idea. Instead of PvPing to get faction to get keys, all you have to do is do PvP quests. Not only do you not have to spend a single piece of gold, you make profit for saving up for everlasting tonics.

i like the op's idea about the non-everlasting tonic to spend my zcoins on gives me a reason to keep collecting the z-quests for ones i really like to use on my titles

Nice suggestion. But as you said, limit it to the single use ones. This will keep the Everlasting ones 'special'. Otherwise people would just do the PvP quests over and over and get the Everlasting tonics in no time.

That definitely can't be done in 'no time'.

Would just give another reason for the "Omg I need to grind for 6 months to get an Everlasting, I hate you Anet!", and the "It's optional!" responses all over again.

Yiu canget them in the chest or get them in the collectors, but since they are items for show, it doesn't matter.

It's only a problem when it is a basic item like a bag or simple weapons with no special skins. Basic thing need low prices, or people complain or can't use the feature.
Not much people use crafters, for example, because it's absurd to pay 5k for something a collector has for 5 trophies you can get in 20% of the time you can get 5k and materials.
But people DO use the dettroyer crafters, since they can be added to the HoM and are showy, and no one complains about their price.

You can already get basic weapons, you could already get normal tonics.

What you can't get is the 20-slot equipment bag in less than a week, when you should be able to, that's why people have the right to complain, because there are no alternative ways to get the item, the smaller bags cannot be upgraded to be big, and they are not for show, but for use.
